International Forum for the Challenges of Peace OperationsThe third International Forum for the Challenges of Peace Operations (Challenges Forum) will be hosted by Australia 27-29 April 2010 and address Challenges of Protecting Civilians in Multidimensional Peace Operations. More information such as Programme, Themes and Participants of this upcoming forum will be found under "Challenges Forum 2010" in the menu bar to the left. The second Challenges Forum was hosted in New York 12-13 November 2009. Details about the forum is posted under "Challenges Forum 2009" in the menu bar to the left. (The Pakistan Challenges Forum is postponed and will be held at a later date to be confirmed.) The first Challenges Forum was hosted by France 20-22 October 2008 at École Militaire in Paris and addressed "Partnerships - the United Nations, the European Union and the Regional Dimensions of Peace Operations: Examples of Cooperation within the Framework of Chapter VIII of the UN Charter".
