Challenges Forum to host C34 Lunch Dialogue Session

On 19 February, in the margins the of the 2020 Special Committee on Peacekeeping (C34), Challenges Forum and Partners will host a high-level ambassadorial lunch dialogue session at the UN Headquarters in New York. The session will center around efforts to advance the Action for Peacekeeping (A4P) reform agenda as the C34 deliberations initiate.

The lunch will take place in the margins of the 2020 Special Committee on Peacekeeping (C34) substantive session. It is hosted by the Challenges Forum together with Ministry of Foreign Affairs Arab Republic of Egypt, Permanent Mission of Arab Republic of Egypt to the UN, Cairo International Center for Conflict Resolution, Peacekeeping and Peacebuilding (CCCPA), Permanent Mission of Sweden to the UN and the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Indonesia to the UN.

The lunch dialogue session will allow key A4P stakeholders including Member States and the UN Secretariat to engage on how to further advance the Action for Peacekeeping (A4P) reform agenda and shared commitments with the view to strengthen the effectiveness of peace operations.
